Today, the new podcast MinistryGeek This Week recorded its first episode. Yes, I am the MinistryGeek, and I am joined in this show by two good friends, Dale Jenkins and Caleb O’Hara. Dale is the co-host of the popular podcast, iPreach and Caleb is co-host of the podcast, Engage! (both podcasts have been mentioned here before). This is a project I have wanted to do for a long, long time, but one that I just never got around to. Dale and Caleb actually approached me with the idea and so I finally did it. I also, need to repay thank Caleb for the logo he developed for the show. This is again proof that you need to be careful what pictures you post on Facebook!
What is MinistryGeek This Week all about?
This podcast will be about Technology in Ministry (big surprise huh?). We will post a new episode each week on Wednesday mornings and we we deal with a number of different topics related to using technology in various aspects on ministry. In some ways this new podcast will be an extension of this blog and what I teach in my Ministry Technologies course at the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. Dale, Caleb, and I all love the Lord and we love finding new ways to use technology to spread the message of the Gospel and build up the body of the church. We hope you will join us.
